hey yves!! do u know what the galactian alignment system is? can u explain it ?? :o
ofc choerry ! "galactian alignment" was a system created in 2016 for nonbinary people to describe their gender and alignments without being forced to use binary terms (like fem/woman aligned for example).
wondering why it all centers around this specific theme? well ! in the past, nonbinary people have been associated with space. not only that, but more importantly, the theme of space is used because space is genderless!

updated galactian alignment system chart
the charts show the relationship between each term and femininity/masculinity. the first chart is flawed because some of the terms are messed up; this is why the second one was created. for the second chart, instead of using the names for each term, the symbols from each flag are used to represent the different terms for the different alignments.
terminology
lunarian --> fem aligned
duskian --> partially connected to being lunarian (demi-lunarian)
nebularian --> fem/no alignment, either fluctuating or simultaneously. also called stellunarian
neularian --> a gender alignment which is feminine in nature, but does not have any ties to femaleness or womanhood whatsoever. also described as "neutral femininity."
solarian --> male aligned
dawnian --> partially connected to being solarian (demi-solarian)
soleilian --> combo of nebularian and dawnian
novarian both male/no alignment, either fluctuating or simultaneously. also called solstellarian
solstian --> partially male-aligned, partially no alignment, and partially identifying with something else (demi-solstellarian)
stellarian --> no alignment
eclipsian --> both fem/male alignments, either fluctuating or simultaneously. also called sollunarian
twilightian --> partially male-aligned, partially fem-aligned, and partially identifying with something else (demi-sollunarian)
galaxian --> feminine, masculine, and neutral, either fluctuating or simultaneously. also called solstellunarian
equinoxian --> partially fem-aligned, partially no alignment, and partially identifying with something else (demi-stellunarian)
constellian partially male-aligned, fem-aligned, no alignment, and partially identifying with something else (demi-solstellunarian)
singularian --> nonaligned, rejection of alignments. also called voidarian (there is a black stripe included at the top of the flag but cannot be seen since the background of the carrd is black.)
aurorian --> fluidity between alignments. to identify as one alignment, that changes (fluidly or suddenly) to another alignment
yes i do! the terms are simply used to describe one's nonbinary gender identity without using binary terms and the reason there are a lot is because there are so many different kinds of nonbinary identities.. so yes, i get it now! thank u sm yves !!
